Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) - VAC® Virtual Education - Theory and Application - Solventum (3M™) Online

This virtual education session will provide a thorough review of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) - 3M™ Vacuum Assisted Closure (V.A.C.®) Therapy.  It is beneficial for either initial education or a review of current practice for experienced clinicians. 

Agenda:

  • Review of Indications
  • Review of contraindications
  • Basic theory - including warnings, precautions, basic application, tips & tricks
  • Demonstration of how to apply

Note:  Follow former Health Region processes for RNSP and/or LPNAC certification requirements i.e. completion of learning modules, skills competency checklist, etc.  Contact your Educator/Supervisor for more information on this process.
