On behalf of Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, we invite you to participate in this educational webinar Enhancing Skin Health: Strategies to Optimize the Management of Moisture-Associated Skin Damage (MASD) with Britney Ann Butt, MSISc-WH, BScN, RN, NSWOC, WOCC(C) on Tuesday, May 7 from 1600-1700h Sask time. Join us for this one-hour event to learn about MASD and acquire practical knowledge and skills in applying evidence-based interventions and solutions.

Objectives

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

Gain a thorough understanding of the diverse etiological factors contributing to MASD, encompassing moisture-related skin conditions and their impact on skin integrity
Acquire practical knowledge and skills in applying evidence-based interventions, using current research & clinical evidence, for the prevention and management of MASD, considering products & strategies tailored to individual patient needs
Foster a holistic approach to skin health by integrating evidence-based solutions into comprehensive patient care plans, emphasizing preventative measures and patient education to minimize the impact of MASD on skin integrity
Review cases and participate in a Q&A session following the presentation

Presenter:

Britney Ann Butt, MSISc-WH, BScN, RN, NSWOC, WOCC(C)

Britney Ann Butt has worked as a clinical nurse specialist at North York General Hospital since 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from the University of Ottawa, an Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Certificate in 2014 from the Canadian Association of Enterostomal Therapy (now referred to as the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Institute) and her Master of Clinical Science in Wound Healing in 2017 from the University of Western Ontario.

During her tenure as the Program Development Lead with the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Institute, Britney was responsible for the development of educational programs including the Wound Debridement Program, Practice Enrichment Series for paramedics and Skin Wellness Associated Program for RPNs (SWAN).

She is currently appointed as president elect for the Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel.
