The ACoRN: Acute Care of at-Risk New-borns Program Workshop for Providers In-Person / Online

The ACoRN Workshop provides health care professionals with the knowledge and skills of neonatal resuscitation, assessment and management of the at-risk newborn. Participants must complete an on-line exam prior to the in-person component. The workshop utilizes simulation based education and debriefing to support team-based approach to care.

Who can take ACoRN?
Individuals providing newborn care such as licensed or regulated health professionals (or students) such as physicians, nurses, midwifes, respiratory therapists or paramedics.

WORKSHOP FEE
SHA Staff/Physicians/Partner Organizations/Residents $400.00

Participants are responsible for obtaining the ACoRN Acute Care of at-Risk Newborns 2nd Edition. This resource is available to order from the CPS at https://bookstore.cps.ca/
Participants are required to successfully complete the ACoRN On-line exam as a pre-requisite to attending the workshop. Further details about the requirements will be included in the confirmation letter provided at registration.
