Wounds Canada is excited to present the third webinar in the series Shifting the Pressure: A Time for System Change in Pressure Injury Protocols.

Understand the interdisciplinary preparation for pressure injury surgery and the surgical plan to ensure clear communications with the team.
Examine evidence-based wound care techniques and infection prevention measures to minimize infection pre and post-surgery to support skin health
Implement pain management strategies and ensure proper use of pain relief medications to facilitate mobility and positioning.
Describe best practices for teaching and supporting persons pre- and post-surgery to optimize pressure injury healing and minimize complications.
